FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

IS THERE A MINIMUM TO BOOK THE FOOD TRUCK?

Yes, our minimum for a private event is $1000 which can feed 50 people (60-65 buffet style) which includes an assortment of pizza of your choice. In addition, we add a local sales tax 7.5% and an 18% gratuity to all events. A travel fee may apply if more then an hour from Lake Zurich, IL. 

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY EVENT?

We cannot guarantee open time slots, so the sooner you book the quicker you can secure the date. In most cases we need to book at least two (2) weeks in advance to properly plan and schedule staff for the event. Please fill out our "contact" form so we can discuss your event.

WHAT DOES KURBSIDE PIZZA PROVIDE AT EVENTS?

Guests can order at the window of the food truck or we can set up "buffet style" so that guests can help themselves. We provide plates, utensils, & napkins. We do not bring to-go boxes for food at private events unless requested.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? IS MY DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?

Kurbside Pizza requires a 10% deposit to secure any event. If you decide to cancel your event: 

  • 30 + days prior to the event date, the full deposit will be refunded

  • 7-29 days prior to event, ½ of the deposit will be refunded

  • 7 days or less prior to the event, the full deposit will be retained by Kurbside Pizza.

Raincheck policy: If your event cannot be held due to weather or other unforeseeable circumstances, Kurbside Pizza will work with you to reschedule the event to a different available date as close to the original date as possible.

WHERE DO YOU PARK THE TRUCK?

It is the clients responsibility to verify in advance that we are allowed to park at the event location site. If we arrive at the event site and, for any reason, Kurbside Pizza is unable to park at the event, all monies for the event, in full, will be retained by Kurbside Pizza. Kurbside Pizza cannot drive up hills with a 15% grade or higher.
