My Story

So, why a food truck?

My story begins in Italy. In the 1970s, my father immigrated to the United States and reunited with his brother, Vito—Zio Vito—who was making pizzas in New York City before eventually settling in Scranton, Pennsylvania. It was there that my father learned the ins and outs of the pizza business.

I quite literally grew up in a pizzeria. Funny enough, I never imagined myself running a food truck. But I’ve always been a true foodie—someone who loves discovering new restaurants, sharing meals, and bringing people together through food.

At a point in my life when I knew I needed a change, I decided to start a new chapter—one rooted in family, tradition, and passion. This food truck is a blend of my Italian heritage, lifelong love for food, and the courage to follow what truly makes me happy.

I’m incredibly grateful to my hubbie for encouraging me to take the leap, and for the endless support from my children, Mya and Mateo, and the rest of our family. This journey is for them—and for everyone who believes that great food tells a story.
